Shamanic Back Protection Amulet – Set

A back protective set constituted of three amulets made of iron. This full set can be attached to the shaman’s costume or equipment or simply used as decoration. Each amulet width is around ~18 cm and the pendant with the ring are about ~10 cm in length.
These amulets were handmade by a craftsman at a local market in Mongolia.

The back protective set has 3 amulets. One amulet is composed of arrow head pendants, the second one with a mix of sledgehammer, bell chime and tanner’s knife, and the third one with bell chimes. The three amulets are attached on the back of the costume as it is the most vulnerable part of the body. Indeed, while beating on his or her drum to call the spirit, a shaman usually bends forward to help get in trance more easily leaving his or her back vulnerable. These 3 protective amulets are here to protect from harmful and sneaky spirits attack as well as negative energies encountered during this ritual. The sound it produces can also scare off unwanted spirits.

These are genuine shamanic amulets used by Mongol Shaman here in Mongolia. Each set is hand forged and thus unique. Note that as they are handmade the size may vary slightly as well as the shape of the tools. Also expect a little of the coating to rub off onto your fingers and for them to feature occasional scratches.
