In the Dunjingaraw Mountain – Tenger Had

Greetings everyone!
Here are some pictures of my last hiking, with Enguerran Zandonai, this time half off-trail, in the sacred mountain “Dunjingaraw“, located in the south of Ulaanbaatar – Mongolia, to a place named “Tenger Had”.
The following photographs are listed chronologically in order to make you discover the beauty of this hike the same way as I experienced it!
I hope that you will enjoy!

Pulsatilla patens or Eastern pasqueflower

Cardamine pratensis or Cuckooflower

Genus betula or Birch

Trollius asiaticus or Asian globeflower (Жамъянмядаг)

Anemonastrum narcissiflorum or Narcissus-flowered Anemone

A little break to practice feather stick making with knife and axe

Now time to move forward to “Tenger Had”

Another footprint of deer

Just enjoying the nature and the view

Rhododendron Tomentosum (syn. Ledum palustre) or Marsh Labrador tea

Those rocky formations are the sign that we are getting close to the “Tenger Had”

Tenger Had

“Tenger Had” from an other point of view

Time to go back

Lost the trail for a kilometer or so

This tree looks like a natural meditation temple

Brassicaceae or Mustard family

Androsace lehmanniana or Lehmann’s rockjasmine

Found on the path just before leaving

I hope that you enjoy this hike as much as I did!
And see you soon for a new travel journal!
